Australia won the 3rd match of the historic Ashes series in Melbourne today by an innings and 14 runs to retain the Ashes 2021/22 series also leading 3-0 in the five-match Test series as well.

Earlier in the first day, England were bowled out for 185 in the first innings of the Boxing Day Test, which began the day after Christmas.

Australia were all out for 267 in their first innings, with opener Marcus Harris top-scored with 76, while James Anderson took four wickets for England.
